How can I tell if a business opportunity is a scam?

Too Good To Be True

Listen to your instincts. If a business opportunity sounds to good to be true, it probably is. Phrases like "Make thousands of dollars a week." or "Earn money while you sleep." are good indications that the opportunity is actually a scam or a pyramid scheme.

If it sounds too good to be true...trust your instincts and make better use of your time elsewhere. Get-rich-quick schemes are a dime a dozen, and they will not work for you. They only work for the people who develop them. Since I believe people are basically good (versus not good), I gather you have no interest in creating a scam disguised as "the only internet marketing business that works". So please steer clear of internet marketing for your own sake.
